Kristie Meyer

I have been a Health teacher at Roy C. Ketcham High School for over 20 years, since 2003. During my time there, I have coached various sports for both boys and girls, with basketball being my primary focus. Before joining Ketcham, I attended SUNY Cortland, where I played basketball for four years and earned a dual bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science, with a concentration in Coaching. I also served as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s basketball team while earning my Master’s Degree in Health Education. Growing up I played soccer, basketball, softball and track. I have also done a significant amount of hiking, running, and biking.
My purpose for coaching is to help people. I find great pleasure and fulfillment in being part of their journey as they transform their lives for the better—physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually—through the act of working out and investing in themselves
